Mani's final Facebook post before the Stone Roses star's death was a heartfelt tribute to his wife Imelda. Gary 'Mani' Mounfield, died on Thursday aged 63 - almost two years to the day since Imelda's tragic passing.

Imelda died in November 2023, following a three-year fight against stage four bowel cancer . She and Mani were parents to twin boys, Gene and George, 12, who arrived in January 2013.

In a heartbreaking tribute shared on Facebook on Tuesday, the Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist posted five photographs of his late wife and penned: "
