Power Rangersfans have had to shed a few tears lately after it was announced that Super Sentai, the Japanese superhero series that inspired the hugely popular American franchise, is ending. According to the BBC, the series, which has aired for 50 years, will finally conclude because recent sales from merchandise and events have not been strong enough to cover production costs.
