The Buffalo Bills defensive captain was injured in the third quarter against the Houston Texans on Thursday.
Terrel Bernard was in on a tackle for a 1-yard loss on Houston running back Nick Chubb with 10 minutes, 27 seconds left in the third quarter.
Bernard lied on his stomach in pain and rolled onto his back grabbing his right arm as he was tended to by athletic trainers. Some of the Bills players on the defense took a knee ad Bernard was evaluated for the injury.
Bernard, the team's second-leading tackler in 2025, got to his feet and walked into the locker room with a trainer holding his right arm.
He returned to the sideline with his arm in a sling and was ruled out with an elbow injury.
