PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was found shot to death inside a central Phoenix vacant apartment off Interstate 17 earlier this week.

Authorities said that around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to a complex near 27th and Glenrosa avenues , just north of Indian School Road. Once on scene, they found the body of a man who appeared to have been shot inside the unoccupied unit.

Detectives followed and took over the investigation, but it remains unclear what led up to the deadly shooting or whether investigators have any leads on the potential shooter.
