UPDATE: Dakota has been found and is safe, according to Don Lisi, spokesman for the Rogers Police Department, in an email sent at 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
ROGERS -- Police on Thursday night asked the public for their help locating a missing teen they described as autistic.
Dakota Culbertson, 15, ran away from Rogers High School around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, according to a Rogers Police Department news release.
Dakota is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with black sleeves and a lime green Nike swoosh, along with dark colored pants, according to the release.
In the past he has been found hiding in sheds or barns and "is capable of covering long distances on foot," the release states.
