CINCINNATI —
No. 6 UofL takes on Cincinnati on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. It will mark the first time as a head coach that Pat Kelsey has a team take the floor in his hometown.
That game is just one of the sporting events on the riverfront in the Queen City on Friday.
The other game, a high school football playoff game, will be played at Paycor Stadium. That's the home of the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals.
The game, between Elder High School and St. Xavier (OH), was originally scheduled for Mason High School, but was moved when tickets sold out in about an hour. The move freed up an extra 13,000 to 14,000 tickets to the game. A total of 20,000 tickets were for sale.
Elder is the alma mater of Kelsey. Cards guard Kobe Rodgers went to St. X.
