Mexico's Fátima Bosch has been crowned the winner of Miss Universe 2025, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The event, held on November 21, 2025, featured contestants from 121 countries and was themed "The Power of Love." Fátima Bosch impressed the judges and audience alike, wearing a stunning red gown during the finale. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær from Denmark.

The competition saw India’s Manika Vishwakarma not advancing beyond the Top 12. The first runner-up was Miss Thailand, followed by Miss Venezuela, Miss Philippines, and Miss Côte d'Ivoire.

While the Miss Universe Organization has not confirmed the exact prize money for this year, reports indicate that the winner will receive approximately $250,000, similar to the previous year's winner. In addition to the cash prize, the titleholder will earn a monthly salary of $50,000, which covers travel and public appearances. The winner will also be provided with a luxury apartment in New York City and will wear the iconic Miss Universe crown, valued at around $5 million.

Fátima Bosch's journey to the crown was not without controversy. Just weeks before the event, she faced disrespect from the pageant host, Nawat Itsaragrisil, who insulted her publicly. In response, she stated, "What your director did is not respectful — he called me dumb. The world needs to see this because we are empowered women, and this is a platform for our voice." Following the backlash, Itsaragrisil issued a public apology for his remarks.

The Miss Universe pageant continues to be a significant platform for showcasing beauty and empowerment on a global scale.
