As the only college football game nationally broadcast on Nov. 20, Louisiana and Arkansas State put on a show.

Countless lead changes, a handful of fumbles and a fourth-quarter dogfight were on tap in Jonesboro in Week 13. With both teams fighting to keep their bowl hopes alive, the Ragin’ Cajuns simply wanted it more, battling their way to a 34-30 victory.

“I’m so glad the game played out the way it did, and I’m so glad everybody got to see what this team’s all about,” UL coach Michael Desormeaux said. “These guys are Ragin’ Cajuns. That’s who they are. They’re gritty, and they’re tough, and they’re resilient.”
