Bangkok: Mexico’s Fátima Bosch was crowned the 74th Miss Universe in Thailand on Friday. She defeated over 100 contestants to bag the title. Thailand’s Praveenar Singh was adjudged runners up.
Bosch brought glory to Mexico after 5 years. Andrea Meza had won the title in 2020. She was crowned the winner by Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, the 73rd Miss Universe at the pageant finale. ADVERTISEMENT
Manika Vishwakarma, India’s representative at the 74th Miss Universe, got eliminated at the Top 12 round, following the swimsuit presentation. She was competing alongside over 100 representatives from different countries, using her platform to promote inclusive education, mental wellness, and the power of artistic expression.
