In a step to deepen educational cooperation, Pakistan has announced the launch of the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, offering up to 500 fully-funded scholarships to Bangladeshi students over the next five years. The announcement came close on the heels of the first Pakistani education expo in Dhaka, to be held on 24 November 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel’s Utshab Hall.

According to sources, the Knowledge Corridor — unveiled during the visit of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar — seeks to build stronger people-to-people ties through education, research, and capacity building.

According to Islamabad’s Higher Education Commission (HEC), the initiative will promote student exchanges, leadership training, and deeper institutional cooperation.
