HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - One more day until the return of another week of high school football, let’s carry on previewing our teams in Kentucky.
After losing the last three games of the regular season, the Henderson County Colonels have rattled off two straight wins in the playoffs, and find themselves getting ready for their matchup in the quarterfinals.
Head Coach John Elliott said now they’re playing with house money, and so these Colonels will give it there all against a very tough opponent.
“They’re a very good football team. South Warren has won three state championships in their history, they’ve been in existence about 15 years. They’re undefeated, they’re the highest ranked team in Kentucky in 6A football, so it’s going to take a great effort on our part to stay in it and win it,
