The A.B. Miller Rebels won their CIF Southern Section playoff game against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves with a final score of 39-13 on Friday, Nov. 7.
The Rebels earned a playoff win in front of their home fans and did so in an assertive manner. Winning a playoff game after posting a record of 1-5 through their first six games this season is a remarkable accomplishment for the team. Friday’s win marks the team’s fifth consecutive victory after a disappointing start.
A.B. Miller senior quarterback, Jacob Sauceda, led the way for the Rebels. Sauceda only passed the ball 10 times, but was a contributor in both facets of the offense.
