Himachal Pradesh man bumps head, gets memory and family back; parents died not knowing he was alive

SHIMLA: Himachal’s Rikhi Ram — or Ravi Chaudhary as his official ID says — has walked straight out of the pages of aworn-out Bollywood script. Having lost his memory as a 16-year-old after a traumatic head injury, Rikhi wandered off to Nanded, Maharashtra, where he was given a new name, and a new life. He married and had three kids. A couple of months ago, he suffered another head injury and his past began coming back in flashes — village lanes, mango trees, hills and a place named “Sataun”. Now, 45 years later, he has finally been reunited with his brothers and sisters, who had long given him up as dead.
