Jamie Carragher has urged Liverpool to bolster their squad in the January transfer window , despite the club's record-breaking spending spree over the summer. Following their triumphant Premier League campaign last season, Arne Slot's side smashed records with signings such as Florian Wirtz for £116m and Alexander Isak for £125m.
In total, Liverpool welcomed 10 new faces ahead of the new season. However, many of Slot's new recruits have failed to make their mark. After 11 Premier League matches, the champions find themselves in eighth place, trailing Arsenal by eight points.
