Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky met senior U.S. army figures in Kyiv on Thursday, after reports that Washington D.C. had presented a plan to Ukraine to end the war with Russia that would be more favorable to Moscow.
The British newspaper The Telegraph was among outlets that revealed the details of the 28-point plan , which will be pored over by world leaders.
Newsweek has contacted the Ukrainian and Russian foreign ministries for comment.
