A pple India recorded its highest-ever domestic sales of $9 billion in FY25, while one out of every five iPhones produced globally during the period was manufactured or assembled in India, according to company filings.

India’s manufacturing operations accounted for 12% of Apple’s total global production value, marking a major milestone in the tech giant’s expanding supply chain strategy.

Although Apple India contributed just over 2% to the company’s global revenue of $416.1 billion, analysts highlighted that the country’s role in iPhone production has grown significantly—especially with Apple beginning local assembly of its high-end Pro and Pro Max models for the first time.

The Americas remained Apple’s biggest market with $178.4 billion, nearly 43% of global revenue, followed by Euro
