Benny was one of those dogs who never had a fair start in life. There was no warm home waiting for him, no steady future, and no carefree days spent running around. Instead, he ended up in a California shelter facing the most heartbreaking outcome of all, being euthanized.

His family had surrendered him because his hind legs were paralyzed, and despite his loving personality, he was continuously overlooked. Benny spent his days in a small kennel, unseen and waiting for someone to notice him.
