The minister for science and technology Animesh Debbarma has called upon students and teachers to make a grand success of the DNA club scheme sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences . Speaking as chief guest in a programme related to successful implementation of the DNA club programme in government run Sukanta Academy auditorium Animesh gave away prizes to students and teachers and asked them to be fully aware of natural resources and bio-diversity around us. “The entire planet confronts a major threat from rising environmental crisis and our very existence will be at stake unless we are conscious of the natural resources and bio-diversity around us and the urgent need for preserving and protecting them, so a great responsibility lies on all the students and teachers” said Animesh .
