Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis made franchise history this week, serving as the latest example of why this has been a career year for No. 90.
Davis, who batted down three passes in the Eagles’ 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday night, was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Davis became the first player in Eagles history to win both Defensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week in the same season. Davis received the latter after blocking a field goal and returning it for a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
