Former Celtic player Efrain Juarez has opened up on managerial speculation, insisting he is not 'distracted' by anything, apart from his current job in Mexico.

Three weeks on from Brendan Rodgers ' resignation, the club is still on the hunt for his permanent replacement. Though the likely successor to the Irishman seems to be Columbus Crew's Wilfried Nancy, Juarez has had his say on his own situation.

Following Pumas UNAM's final game of the season, a 3-1 defeat to Pachuca in the Liga MX play-offs, Juarez spoke to the Mexican press about his future. “Obviously, there has been interest from other clubs. In every sense, that, for me, is not distracting," he said.
