CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - Carbondale Police sent out an alert shortly before 5 a.m. on Friday, November 21, that officers are on the 500 block of South Graham Avenue.

This is a few blocks west of Carbondale Fire Station #1.

The public is urged to avoid the area.

Police did not say why officers were on the scene, but said there is no threat to the public.
