Celtic have abandoned their AGM after less than an hour this morning.

It comes after shareholders held a major protest inside the room shortly after Peter Lawwell , Michael Nicholson , and other board members emerged to take their place at the top table.

Loud boos could be heard from the audience, with red cards also held up.

The meeting was adjourned for 30 minutes by Lawwell in order to try bring some calm to the situation.

However, after attempting to re-start shortly after 11am, the non-executive chairman of the club made the call to close the meeting.

Protests continued, as shareholders walked out during the introductory video, before returning a short while later, continuing their previous action
