A Tejas fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed during the Dubai Air Show on Friday, resulting in fatal injuries to the pilot, the IAF said. The aircraft went down around 2:15 pm after flying at a low altitude, according to a witness. Footage from the site showed black smoke rising from the area. This is the second reported crash of the Tejas, which uses a General Electric engine, after an earlier accident during an exercise in India in 2024.
