The stars were out in more ways than one at the National Day Gala in Monaco last night. Not only did the likes of Princess Charlene , Prince Albert, and Princess Caroline of Hanover grace the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, but their dazzling display of jewels also lit up the night in a glittering array of heirloom pieces.
Princess Caroline was truly a showstopper as she joined her brother to mark the anniversary of his accession. Dressed in a light blue dress with sequined detailing on the sleeves, the Princess stepped out, draped in the sash of St Charles. But it was her earrings that truly drew the eye: a diamond knot dripping with another large diamond cut in a cushion shape.
