Most years, the Cleveland State Law Hall of Fame welcomes 25 new inductees, honoring alumni and faculty whose achievements have left a lasting mark on the school and the broader community.
The class of 2025, however, was anything but typical. Only one honoree was selected – Lee Fisher, an inductee unlike any before him. During his tenure as dean and Joseph C. Hostetler- BakerHostetler Chair in Law at CSU Law, Fisher conceived the idea of establishing a program to honor the law school’s history and the people who helped strengthen it, launching the Hall of Fame shortly after he arrived in 2017.
