While Punisher fans may have taken it as a given that Jon Bernthal’s ultra-violent vigilante would be making another bone-crunching appearance in the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again, it seems that this will not be the case. Following his return to the role of Frank Castle, Bernthal’s character seems to be an integral part of the MCU’s future, appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, as well as getting his own Marvel Spotlight special sometime in 2026. However, for now, it appears his interactions with Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock will be few and far between.
