CLEVELAND, Ohio — Weather conditions should be mostly favorable for Friday night’s OHSAA regional finals , though a weak cold front will bring spotty showers during the day and into the evening — especially south of Cleveland.
Most stadiums in Northeast Ohio should stay dry for kickoff, but a lingering sprinkle can’t be completely ruled out during some games.
By kickoff, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s under a light northwest breeze. Temperatures will slip slightly throughout the game into the lower 40s.
Clouds will gradually break through the evening as drier air filters in behind the front. Winds will shift northwest but stay light at 5 to 10 mph, keeping wind chills close to the actual temperature. Field conditions will remain playable, and no soaking rain is expected
