Richard Madeley revealed he and wife Judy Finnigan sleep in different rooms

Television presenter Richard Madeley has revealed the heartfelt reason behind his decision to sleep in a separate bedroom from his wife, Judy Finnigan. The 69-year-old Good Morning Britain host first found fame alongside Judy during the 1980s when they presented ITV's This Morning, before launching their own show, Richard and Judy, on Channel 4.

The pair initially met in 1982 whilst both were married to other partners, but their romance developed and 39 years ago today (November 21) they tied the knot in Manchester. They share two children, Jack and Chloe Madeley, whilst Richard has taken on a stepfather role to Judy's two older sons, Dan and Tom Henshaw, from her previous marriage.
