Zabihullah Nokizada, a jeweller from Kabul, is excited to have secured a six-month business visa from the Indian government.

“I had a thriving jewellery business with India and also had a manufacturing unit in Old Delhi. My business shut down after the regime change in Afghanistan and the Taliban coming to power in 2021. But now with India extending a hand of friendship, I see hope. I have recently re-started my unit, although on a much smaller scale,” Nokizada told businessline.
