PARMA, Ohio -- The sweet tea is flowing at McAlister’s Deli’s recently opened new Parma restaurant at 6842 Ridge Road.

“Parma has been on the radar for two years,” McAlister’s Deli Chief Operating Officer Kito Cody said. “Ohio is a market that we have a lot of interest in. This is our second McAlister’s Deli within that marketplace.

“The other one being in Middleburg Heights, which opened about 15 months ago. In fact, a lot of guests were coming from Parma.”

That’s why Cody said the Tennessee-based operation, which currently has more than 560 restaurants in 31 states, was focused on the Parma area with the former YMCA property proving to be the right location as part of a new building with McAlister’s Deli enjoying an end spot.
