Proper Beverage Co. to build new manufacturing facility in Kentwood, creating an estimated 100 jobs

KENTWOOD, Mich. — A Michigan-based beverage company is expanding its operations in Kentwood with a new facility.

Proper Beverage Co. said it's building a 300,000-square-foot co-manufacturing facility in Kentwood, creating an estimated 100 jobs. Proper Beverage Co. is a manufacturer that specializes in full-service beverage co-packing.

The new facility will create an estimated 100 jobs initially, and will employ about 400 people, the beverage company said.

“Choosing American-made equipment ensures we can uphold the highest production standards while supporting American manufacturers and jobs,” said Brian Hirsch, president of Proper Beverage Co. “It is an investment in both quality and community.”
