Just over a week after he announced his retirement , singer David Coverdale has shared his final music video with Eighties hair metal legends, Whitesnake .
The clip is for a new version of “Forevermore,” the title track from Whitesnake’s 2011 album, which is about to be reissued. This version was produced by Coverdale and features a fresh orchestral arrangement from Hook City Strings.
The dramatic new rendition of the song is an apt choice for Coverdale’s final music video with Whitesnake. Directed by Payton Murphy, the visual captures Coverdale and Hook City Strings performing the song in a simple studio space, laced with white, with photos of Coverdale and his loved ones in the background.
