JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) — A pair of suspects are facing charges in connection to a Thursday morning armed robbery on James Island.
Justin Roland Jenkins, 27, of Charleston and Malachi Jabez Lanham, 22, of Charleston are both charged with armed robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon while committing a violent crime.
The Charleston Police Department said the robbery took place inside a home on Westway Drive.
Around 11 a.m. Thursday, a man reported being injured during that robbery. Police say the victim had been invited to the home, but when he arrived, another man came into the room wearing a ski mask and pointing a gun at the victim.
