A 65-year-old retired loco pilot died after he was attacked with a steel rod by an unidentified man during his routine evening walk in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area on Thursday night.
Surendra Dhonduram Pachadkar, a resident of Triveni Society in Vikhroli (West), was found lying in a pool of blood inside CGS Colony around 9.30 pm, police said on Friday. Read More
According to officers, he lived with his wife Shubhangi and 34-year-old stepson, Akash Sathe. Pachadkar, who had recently retired as a loco pilot, suffered from diabetes and kidney-related ailments and had been advised to walk every day.
On Thursday evening, he left home at 7.30 pm
