Two teenage girls were arrested this week after four back-to-back robberies within a 30-minute time period, Baltimore police said.
Four alleged victims told police a group of girls came up to them, demanded their belongings and threatened them with a handgun.
The incidents happened in the 400 and 800 blocks of North Charles Street, and by East Saratoga Street on Monday evening between 4:30-5 p.m., according to detectives.
“This is a good area; this is a very good area, but here we’re having a lot of problems with the teenagers,” said Leslie Cole, who lives near Franklin and N. Charles Streets. “The young people here yelling and screaming, can’t get on buses and different things, so it has changed downtown.
