As the season shifts and thoughts in the Upper Ottawa Valley drift toward Christmas, the call has gone out once again to help spread cheer through the OPP’s long-running Christmas Angel Program. Article content

The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is marking its 29th year of participation in the program in 2025, and organizers say the need remains significant. Each “Angel” symbolizes a local child who could use a little extra kindness this holiday season. Article content

At the moment, Christmas Angels can only be found at Pembroke city hall and the Pembroke Public Library, as well as the Petawawa town office and the Petawawa Public Library, until more Angels arrive.
