LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Jefferson County Clerk's Office will hold the first election in December since the death of long-time clerk Bobbie Holsclaw.

And the preparations for the election are already underway.

Interim Clerk David Yates invited reporters and a representative from both parties to observe the process and check out the voting machines at the Board of Elections Office on East Liberty in downtown Louisville.

Yates put an emphasis on transparency between his office and voters.
