POUGHKEEPSIE – Twenty-two-year-old Kyle Petrozzi of Westchester County was slated to graduate from Marist University this past May with a degree in Media Studies and Production until he was expelled during an investigation into unlawful surveillance in campus bathrooms conducted by the Dutchess County DA’s Office and the Town of Poughkeepsie PD. On November 18, 2025, he was indicted on 16 felony counts of unlawful surveillance for allegedly filming both men and women in the gender-neutral bathrooms on the second, third, and fourth floors of the Dyson Center on the campus.
On Friday, November 21, he appeared before Dutchess County Court Judge Jessica Segal with his attorney and entered a plea of not guilty to all 16 charges that could result in more than a decade in prison if convicted.
