Jammu : Director of Panchayati Raj, Sham Lal on Friday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of Panchayat infrastructure works taken up across Jammu and Kashmir in the financial year 2025–26.

The meeting focused on the physical progress of Panchayat Ghars (PGs), land identification for new constructions, fund disbursement through the SNA SPARSH portal via BEAMS and the operational status of Panchayat Learning Centres (PLCs).

Progress under the People’s Plan Campaign (PPC), Model Women Friendly Gram Panchayats, DARPG Awards and preparations for Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) (November 26) was also reviewed.
