Connor Hellebuyck, when he's right, is the best goalie in hockey.

But right now, he's not right. The Winnipeg Jets will be without their injured netminder for a while.

TSN's Darren Dreger broke the news Friday that the Jets are shutting Hellebuyck down so he can undergo a "minor arthroscopic procedure."

The three-time Vezina winner so far this season has a 2.51 goals against average and a 91.3 save percentage.

Dreger's report indicates Hellebuyck will be out for between four and six weeks.

The six-week mark would take Hellebuyck into the first few days of 2026.
