Groundbreaking held for first stage of redevelopment at the former site of Valley View Mall

Development firm Beck Ventures, which owns the site of the former Valley View Mall in Dallas, is broke ground Friday on a 2-year construction project for a new apartment building. It is the first step of the $4 billion plan to bring residential, retail and office space to the large vacant site. Bo Evans reports.
