Meghan Markle is gearing up for Christmas with her Netflix special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, but is this the last hurrah for her show?

The streaming network has already signed Meghan and Prince Harry to a multiyear, first-look deal in what Netflix described as a “creative partnership.” It’s a far cry from their $100 million production deal they signed in 2020, but those lucrative contracts rarely exist for anyone in Hollywood these days.

Still, there are whispers that the Duchess of Sussex’s show isn’t as big a hit as everyone hoped. “One executive literally called it ‘the farewell disguised as a holiday treat,’” a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack. “Everyone is smiling on the outside — but inside, they know this is the end.”
