Madurai, Nov 21 (UNI) The Ireland Men’s Junior Hockey Team became the first ones to arrive in Madurai, ahead of FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamil Nadu 2025, when they reached on Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, just before the Ireland side, it was the Australian Men’s Junior Hockey Team who touched down, in Chennai.

Ireland have been drawn in Pool A, where they will face Canada, Germany, and South Africa in the group stage.

The Green Machine, as they are popularly known, open their campaign against Canada on November 28, before taking on South Africa on November 29, and concluding their pool fixtures against Germany on December 1 at 08:00.

Ireland has their task cut out from the get-go in the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamil Nadu 2025.
