Srinagar- Authorities in Kashmir on Friday continued a large-scale inspection drive, checking lockers of doctors and medical staff in hospitals across Ganderbal and Kupwara as part of heightened security measures, officials said.

Police teams in Ganderbal carried out surprise inspections at several hospitals in coordination with hospital administrations. Officials said the exercise is aimed at ensuring transparency, enforcing security protocols, and preventing any misuse of hospital premises. Staff were also sensitised about reporting suspicious activity and ensuring hospital spaces are not used for anything other than official purposes.
