Emmerdale actor Michael Parr has dropped a huge hint about the upcoming crossover episode with Coronation Street . Titled Corriedale , the special episode will feature an audience vote which will give viewers the chance to pick which two characters they want to see interact on screen.

Announcing the options on today's This Morning , soap expert Sharon Marshall spoke to Emmerdale stars Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle), James Hooton (Sam Dingle) and Nicola Wheeler (Nicola King) about their scenes.

While voting for the special Corriedale episode, which airs in January, won't be open until next year, all four options are being filmed today.
