Celtic have pointed the finger at the Celtic Trust and the Green Brigade after their AGM descended into chaos – and have delayed announcing the results of their resolutions to give shareholders the chance to vote online.
The annual meeting was cut short as fans protested against the board, with chairman Peter Lawwell halting proceedings following the reaction to a speech from Ross Demond on behalf of Celtic's largest single shareholder Dermot Desmond .
Lawwell called a poll on the resolutions at the end of the meeting as the shareholders looked to have their say. But after releasing a statement earlier today slamming the 'unacceptable' conduct, the club have released a follow-up statement delaying the results of the poll.
