LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Rep. Morgan McGarvey, D-Louisville, has filed for reelection to represent Kentucky’s third congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“I first came to Washington to fight for our community, stand up for our values and work to get things done,” McGarvey said. “That mission stays the same, but we all know the stakes have gotten higher—for our neighbors, for our kids, for our country. The Trump administration wants us to feel powerless, but we’re not.”

McGarvey has served as Kentucky’s only Democratic representative in Congress since assuming office in January 2023.
