Rice University’s football team is playing in prime time on Saturday night in Houston, hosting the University of North Texas in one of the Owls’ biggest games of the season.

Students age 21 and older attending the 6:30 p.m. game at Rice Stadium can get free beer and several other free promotions.
"Rice Students, there's no reason to miss the [Rice football] game this Saturday!" Eric George, assistant vice president and deputy athletic director at Rice, wrote in a post on X . "Free shirts, free food, and free beer! Cancel your current plans and join us at Rice Stadium!"
