Jackson, Mich. (WILX) - ‘Tis the season in Mid-Michigan.
Thousands of people are expected to hit the streets of Downtown Jackson Friday night for the city’s annual Christmas Parade, marking the official start of the holiday season.
News 10 will livestream the parade in the player above.
With marching bands, floats and more, the parade steps off from Michigan Ave. and Blackstone at 6 p.m. and heads down to MLK Boulevard, ending at Consumers Energy at the intersection of MLK and Cortland.
The festive season continues on Saturday with Downtown Jackson’s Christmas in the City from noon to 4 p.m., featuring photos with Santa Claus, free trolley rides, ice sculpting, hot chocolate, shopping and more.
