Two of Arizona's three Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted against a resolution condemning "socialism," a symbolic measure that passed the day that New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani was set to visit Washington, D.C.

Reps. Yassamin Ansari and Adelita Grijalva, both members of the House Progressive Caucus, voted against the resolution, which "denounces the horrors of socialism" and "opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States."
